Learn the ancient art form of glass bead making - Lampwork. Come and find out you can really make beads too! You will learn safety with the torch, hot glass, simple round beads, decorating with dots, cylinders, decorating with lines, use of a marver, and making stringers. |

In Rosette Appliqué Beading, students will use Czech beads to learn the Return Stitch in appliqué by beading in concentric circles to make a rosette. The Return Stitch is not a traditional Native American beadwork technique however it has been recognized as one of the best methods in the last fifty years. Great for Mic-O-Say! |

Three Trails Trading Post is proud to be offering an Art Class, “Introduction to Jewelry Making”, to Homeschool Associations, students, and parents. Three Trails is located in Independence in the Englewood Station Arts District, “Where the Arts Live in Independence”. This class will be offered on Tuesday mornings from 9 to 11 AM. It will run for 11 weeks, It is offered in the spring and the fall. Students will learn 10 jewelry making techniques with one week for finishing touches on jewelry projects. Class Tuition is $220.00, this includes the cost of one item per learning subject. Any “extra” supplies will have an additional cost. This is more than a $300.00 value for only $220.00. This works out to only $10.00 per hour. Age should be 10 and up. Limited # of seats in class. Register now!
